Heaven- God's Dwelling Place!

Hello, friend!  Heaven in the Old Testament is called- Shamayim, the Hebrew name for Heaven.  It means God's dwelling place!  Heaven is where the Throne Room of God is, which means- that is where Jesus is!  Heaven is where the people whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life will go once they die.  Heaven and earth are very different.  In Heaven there is no more tears, death, pain, or sorrow.  No more night, because of God's radiance- no more sun or moons.  Jesus is there... Nothing will ever prepare us for the beauty and majesty of where God is.  My Jesus is the key to Heaven.
John 14:16 tells us, "Jesus answered them, "I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."  The ONE and ONLY-Jesus, is the key to Heaven.  WHO is Heaven for... Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).  Heaven is the home for those who trust Jesus for their salvation.  Without Jesus, nobody would go to Heaven.  Whoohoo!!  Praise the Lord for what He has done!  Our key, our Savior, and our Lord!

Hell is for Real!

Hello, friend!  Hell is a real place that we don't like to think about too much.  Jesus wants us to know about it so we can let others know the truth.  Hell is eternal separation from God.  There are only two kinds of people on the planet earth.  People who are saved, and people who are not.  We know that Romans 6:23 tell us that the wages of sin is death... but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  We are ALL sinners, but what happens to people who don't accept the gift of salvation?  Jesus tells us that they will go to a place called Hell.
Jesus loves us enough that He talked about Hell lots of times.  Why?  Because He doesn't want anyone to go there.  He is good and holy.  He doesn't want anyone to perish.  The truth is not everybody will listen to God.  They will do what they want and when the people who love Jesus go to heaven, the people who don't love Jesus will go to the place Hell.
Hell was created for satan and the demons who didn't listen to God.  When Adam and Eve sinned, eternal separation became real for people, too.  God had an escape plan through His ONE AND ONLY SON, Jesus.  God so loved the world... whosoever believes in His Son will not perish in Hell, but will go to HEAVEN to be with Him one day!!! How amazing!!!  We do not need to fear, trust Jesus- keep getting to know Him.  Pray for people who don't know Jesus as their LORD and Savior.  Today is the day of salvation!!  I am praying for you!!!  Watch the video clip and see what Jesus thinks about Hell.

Jesus & Kids!

Hello, friend!  Are you a kid?  Do you ever feel insignificant or little?  Did you know that Jesus told His disciples that unless they became like a little child they couldn't go to heaven?  JESUS LOVES KIDS.  Peter reminds us in Acts- God doesn't have favorites, but Jesus loves kids.  No matter what age you are, God has a HUGE mission and purpose for your life, right now!
If you know Jesus as your friend and more importantly, as your LORD- then telling people about Him is something that is more important and exciting than anything else in life!  There is nothing like knowing Jesus- the next best thing, is telling other people about Him.  You do matter, your life, your ministry, your voice- all matter... Jesus loves you!
I Timothy says, do not let anyone look down on you because you are young.  Being young is tough at times, but know, Jesus wants adults to be humble and loving- like children.  What you do can reach people that adults may never be able to.  Trust Jesus, and enjoy being a kid! Your ministry starts now!

LOVE Your Enemies!

Hello, friend!  Have you ever been bullied, teased, made fun of?  If you haven't yet, you probably will at some point in your life.  How does Jesus want us to treat people who are ugly to us?  In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus tells us to love our enemies, to pray for those who persecute us.  HOW is that possible?  Through the Holy Spirit sealing us, protecting us, and helping us is the only way!
Jesus wouldn't tell us something to do if it wasn't possible.  He makes a way, even when there seems to be no way.
The object lesson in this vlog is something you can try at home.  Take two clear jars, fill one with 3/4 water and 1/4 vinegar.  The other jar fill almost all the way to the top with vinegar, no water.  Put 1/2 of a teaspoon of baking powder in the jar with the water and vinegar mixture.  That jar represents a person who is filled with the Holy Spirit.  As humans we all battle with some sin in our lives, but when someone is ugly to us or bullies us, we might get a little upset, but the Holy Spirit covers us and we are able to love our enemies...ONLY THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT!  The second jar represents a person who is not a Christian.  Mix 2 teaspoons of baking powder in that jar and watch how it "EXPLODES" with anger and ugly back!
Jesus is protecting and helping us to understand, being ugly back to people who hurt us- simply isn't worth it.  How we react to our enemies can lead them to Jesus.  If we truly love people who hurt us, forgive them, and enjoy life they will be able to see Jesus' love through us.  Life is so much better when we forgive and move on.  Our enemies might become our friends, and if not, pleasing God and not having hate in our hearts, makes life so much better.  Once again, Jesus is right!  See, you can trust Him, with even your toughest problems!  I am praying for you!!  Spend some time with Jesus this week:)

Music & Me!

Hello, friend!  Do you love music?  Me too!  Music is one of the most powerful ways to worship God.  It is great to sing and worship Jesus, before or during your quiet times.  Zephaniah 3:17 tells us that God himself sings over us!  That is too cool to think that God our Creator SINGS LOUDLY OVER US!!!  Has your parents ever sang over you?   The love that is expressed through singing is so personal and powerful!  He truly does LOVE US!!
One of my daughter's favorite songs right now is Trust in You, sung by Lauren Daigle. Do you truly listen to the songs you sing at church or on the radio in the car?  If they are praise songs or hymns, most of them are full of awesome truth's that can help you in your life.  Sing away!

Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the Lord; exult before him! Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.  Psalm  68:4-5
