Hello, friend! Prayer? I bet you know what prayer means, but do you know what "intercessory" prayer means? A big part of Jesus' ministry was and is intercessory prayer or praying for other people. He taught us to how to pray and who to pray for. In John 17- Jesus prayed for Himself first, His disciples second, and then the "church" or other believers, third. Yep, He prayed for Himself first. We need to be right with God before we can help other people. (Jesus was already right with God, but He was mostly showing us how to pray.) Most of John 17 is for other people, though. He prayed a lot for people who already knew God... He wanted them to grow as a Christian and do the will of God!
Other times in the Bible He prayed for His enemies. Yep, Jesus had and still has enemies and instead of being ugly to them He PRAYED for them! Prayer really does change situations. Your prayers matter to God. Be real with God, just say what is on your heart- you don't have to say big fancy words, say what you mean to God. He is BIG enough to handle any and all your problems and cares, AND any and all of your friends, family, and even enemies cares. HE IS A BIG GOD!! Watch and see!

Hello, friend! Do you think Jesus lies? Why not? Why would Jesus not want us to lie? Lies hurt. Lies build mistrust and pushes us away from God. We need to get to know Jesus more and more so we can become more like Him. Jesus can't lie! Jesus is perfect, and He is TRUTH. Satan is the father of lies, and is constantly wanting us to slip into habits of lying.
When we are lying... 1.) STOP as quick as you can and TELL THE TRUTH 2.) Apologize and ask for forgiveness You need to do the two steps above to the person you are lying to, AND you need to confess your sin to God and ask Him to forgive you. You are not perfect, but as you grow in Christ you will become more like Jesus. JESUS CANNOT LIE! He wants the best for you. Truth builds strong relationships with people, and most importantly, with GOD! Enjoy your time with Jesus, He is the best friend you will ever have! Hello, Friend!! Jesus had 12 disciples while He was physically here on earth. Who were they and why did He choose them? Does He want to make more disciples? What about you, are you His disciple? Watch and see!
